Preparation and characterization of bioachive glasses modified with nanomaterials

Στην παρούσα διπλωματική παρασκευάστηκαν και μελετήθηκαν δείγματα βιοϋλικών τροποποιημένων με nanodiamonds,με σκοπό την παρασκευή ενός νέου σύνθετου βιοϋλικού που θα συνδυάζει τη βιοενεργότητα ενός βιοϋλικού με τις υψηλές μηχανικές ιδιότητες των nanodiamonds
In the present work were prepared and studied samples of two bioactive glass nanodiamonds systems. The first one was prepared using the sintering method, while the other was prepared with the sol-gel method. Moreover, the bioactivity of the sol gel derived system was studied by immersing the specimens for several hours in Simulated Body Fluid
