Evaluation of Computer Science Departments using Data mining methods

The purpose of this work is to prove that evaluation can be performed based on objective criteria which take into consideration the quality of the professors of the Higher Education Institutes and the performance at national level examinations of the student candidates who are admitted to these Institutes. The evaluation is performed on 17 Computer Science Departments of the Greek Universitiesand Technological Educational Institutes.
