Greek speaking Cappadokes scholars (19th-20th century)

In this study is presented the life and the work of the Greek-speaking scholars of Cappadokia of 19th and 20th century, who contributed a lot in the educational development of their own homelands and of the whole Hellenism of Asia Minor. Majors and minors scholars are mentioned. Furthermore, we set in brief the history of Cappadokia and of the presence of Greeks there.
Στην παρούσα μελέτη παρουσιάζεται η ζωή και το έργο των Ελληνοφώνων λογίων της Καππαδοκίας του 19ου και 20ου αιώνα, οι οποίοι συνεισφέρουν πολλά στην παιδευτική ανάπτυξη των ιδιαιτέρων πατρίδων τους αλλά και ολόκληρου του Μικρασιατικού Ελληνισμού. Αναφέρονται μείζονες και ελάσσονες ελληνόφωνοι λόγιοι. Επίσης, παρατίθεται εν συντομία η ιστορία της Καππαδοκίας και της παρουσίας του ελληνικού στοιχείου εκεί.
