Η εορτή της Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου στη Βυζαντινή μελοποΐα

This paper, is an attempt in research and presentation of the assumption of the Virgin Mary in Byzantine music composition. Beyond an historical reference to the feast, a synoptic hymnological annotation of the hymnography, existing in the typical order of worship of our church, is done, and finally a detailed presentation of compositions - troparia - from manuscripts dedicated to the feast, as well a morphological analysis (in some of them) during the two periods (Mid complete byzantine notation of the A' and the transitional exegetic notation of the B' from Chrysafis the Young, and Protopsalt Jacob). The most important element of originality of this project, is that for the first time , the largest published and not published, hymnological and composition material of the feast of the assumption, is presented collected. For the first time, uknown hymns, hymns that don't belong anymore to the typical order of worship of our church and additionally, the largest part of the compositions from codes' lists and any kind of hymns and lessons composed for the assumption feast, are published in indexing format. Finally this effort is ended with a (far as possible) morphological and musicological analysis of the compositions for two of the major hymns of the Vespers' feast of the two periods and their explanations as well. Concluding, from the musicological view, the greater interest is focused on the individual compositions of the 8th-tone system "idiomelon" Doxastikon of Great Vespers, "Thearchio nevmati" (With a sign by the authority of God) in slow sticheraric melody (new and old) and the famous automelon troparion " What a paradoxal miracle" of the same service, in slow heirmologic melody.
Στὴν παροῦσα ἐργασία ἔγινε μία προσπάθεια ἔρευνας καὶ παρουσίασης τῆς ἑορτῆς τῆς Κοιμήσεως τῆς Θεοτόκου στὴ βυζαντινὴ μελοποιΐα. Πέρα ἀπὸ μία ἱστορικὴ τοποθέτηση τῆς ἑορτῆς, ἔγινε ἕνας συνοπτικὸς ὑμνολογικὸς σχολιασμὸς τῆς ὑμνογραφίας ποὺ ὑφίσταται στὴ λατρευτικὴ τυπικὴ τάξη τῆς Ἐκκλησίας μας καὶ τέλος μία ἀναλυτικὴ παρουσίαση μελοποιήσεων – τροπαρίων - ἀφιερωμένα στὴν ἑορτὴ ἀπὸ χειρόγραφους κώδικες καθὼς καὶ μορφολογικὴ ἀνάλυση ὁρισμένων ἀπὸ αὐτὰ κατὰ τὶς δυὸ περιόδους (τῆς Μέσης πλήρης Βυζαντινῆς σημειογραφίας τῆς Α’ καὶ τῆς Μεταβατικῆς ἐξηγητικῆς σημειογραφίας τῆς Β’). Τὸ σημαντικότερο στοιχεῖο πρωτοτυπίας τῆς παρούσας ἐργασίας εἶναι ὅτι πρώτη φορά παρουσιάζεται συγκεντρωμένο τὸ μεγαλύτερο δημοσιευμένο καὶ ἀδημοσίευτο ὑμνολογικὸ καὶ μελοποιητικὸ ὑλικό τῆς ἑορτῆς τῆς Κοιμήσεως τῆς Θεοτόκου. Γιὰ πρώτη φορᾶ δημοσιεύονται ἄγνωστοι ὕμνοι τῆς ἑορτῆς, ποὺ δὲν ἀνήκουν πλέον στὸ λατρευτικὸ τυπικὸ τῆς Ἐκκλησίας μας καθὼς ἐπίσης καὶ τὸ μεγαλύτερο μέρος τῶν μελοποιήσεων σὲ μορφὴ ἀποδελτίωσης ἀπὸ καταλόγους κωδίκων μὲ κάθε λογής ὕμνους καὶ μαθήματα, ποὺ ἔχουν μελοποιηθεῖ γιὰ τὴν ἑορτὴ τῆς Κοιμήσεως. Τέλος ἡ προσπάθεια αὐτὴ ὁλοκληρώθηκε μὲ μία κατὰ τὸ δυνατὸν μορφολογικὴ καὶ μουσικολογικὴ ἀνάλυση μελοποιήσεων, δυὸ ἐκ τῶν σημαντικότερων ὕμνων τοῦ ἑσπερινοῦ τῆς ἑορτῆς τῶν δύο περιόδων (σημειογραφίας) ἀπὸ τοὺς Χρυσάφη τὸν Νέο καὶ Ἰάκωβο Πρωτοψάλτη, ἀλλὰ καὶ τῶν ἐξηγήσεών τους. Ἀπὸ μουσικολογικῆς ἄποψης λοιπὸν τὸ μεγαλύτερο ἐνδιαφέρον ἑστιάζεται στὶς ἐπιμέρους μελοποιήσεις τοῦ ὀκτάηχου ἰδιόμελου δοξαστικοῦ τοῦ Μ.Ἑσπερινοῦ «Θεαρχίω νεύματι» σὲ ἀργὸ στιχηραρικὸ μέλος – παλαιὸ καὶ νέο – καθὼς καὶ τὸ πολὺ γνωστὸ αὐτόμελο τροπάριο «Ὢ τοῦ παραδόξου θαύματος» τῆς ἴδιας ἀκολουθίας σὲ ἀργὸ εἰρμολογικὸ μέλος.
