ΚΑΤΑΣΧΕΣΙΣ ΑΡΧΑΙΟΥ ΑΓΓΕΙΟΥ Μετηνέχθη χθες εις το υπουργείον της Παιδείας εκ Λαυρίου, ένθα κατεσχέθη εις χείρας του Γάλλου μηχανικού κ. Βενιέ, αρχαία υδροχόη, μεγάλης ως λέγεται αξίας. Το κατασχεθέν ευρίσκεται εντός κιβωτίου εσφραγισμένου, του οποίου η αποσφράγισις θα γείνη σήμερον, όπως εξετασθή αν το κατασχεθέν είναι αξίας τοιαύτης, οίαν τω απέδωσαν αι αρχαί Λαυρίου. Οπωσδήποτε όμως η κατάσχεσις έπρεπε να γείνη και χρήζουσιν επαίνου αι αρχαί Λαυρίου, διότι ανάγκη πλέον να παταχθή αμειλίκτως η αρχαιοκαπηλία.
