Το άρθρο πραγματεύεται το πότε και γιατί αρχίζει η απεικόνιση των οπωρών στην τέχνη της Θεσσαλονίκης, τα απεικονιζόμενα είδη δέντρων, φυτών και φρούτων, καθώς και τον τρόπο της καλλιτεχνικής τους διαπραγμάτευσης, στις νεκρικές τοιχογραφίες και στα εντοίχια και επιδαπέδια ψηφιδωτά από τον 3ο έως τον 7ο αιώνα.

The article discusses when and why the representation of fruits began in the art of Thessaloniki, the species of trees, plants and fruits depicted, and the manner in which these are negotiated artistically, in the tomb wall-paintings and in the mural and floor mosaics from the third to the seventh century.
