Το Σιναϊτικό τετράπτυχο με την Δευτέρα Παρουσία δεν είναι άγνωστο στην επιστημονική κοινότητα, καθώς είχε δημοσιευθεί τμηματικά. Στο κεντρικό φύλλο με τη Δευτέρα Παρουσία η επιγραφή ΔΟΥ[ΛΟ]Ν ΑΒΡΑΑΜ πιθανώς δείχνει τον δωρητή του φορητού αυτού έργου. Η εξέταση της εικονογραφίας του δείχνει ότι ο ζωγράφος είναι σιναϊτικής καταγωγής, ενώ και η τεχνοτροπία του έργου, μέτριας τέχνης, οδηγεί στις διαπιστώσεις και στη χρονολόγηση του γύρω στο 1200. Η ύπαρξη του ίδιου διακοσμητικού μοτίβου, σταυροί που περικλείονται από κύκλους στην πίσω όψη των ακραίων φύλλων, απαντά και σε άλλα έργα που είτε έχουν παραχθεί είτε συνδέονται με τη μονή Σινά.

The Sinai tetraptych which is being assessed here is a work fairly well-known to the scholarly research, as it had been published separately. One of its central panels that with the Last Judgment, bares the inscription ΔΟΥ[ΛΟ]Ν ΑΒΡΑΑΜ which could be interpreted as pointing to the donor of the work. The examination of the painted decoration in terms of iconography and style, of mediocre quality, showcases that is the work of a local painter from Sinai and can be dated around 1200. Furthermore, the decorative pattern at the back of the two extreme leaves, the crosses included in circles, which is repeated as well in icons which were either produced or linked to the monastery of Sinai consolidated the above.
