H εικόνα της Madre della Consolazione, πουπεριβάλλουν απόστολοι, άγιοι, καθώς και δύο δωρητές, από την εκκλησία της Παναγίας Ελεούσας στη Ζανατζιά της Κύπρου, φέρει την επιγραφή:ΔΕΗ/CHC ΤΟΥ / ΔΟΥ ΛΟΥ / ΤΟΥ Θ(ΕΟ)Υ / ΜΑΝΟΕΛ / Τ(Ε)ΖΗΠΛΕΤ / 1510. Η χρονολογίαορίζειτα πλαίσια της έρευνας ανάμεσα σε δύο ζωγράφους που εργάστηκαν στην Κύπρο γύρω στο 1500, τον Φίλιππο Γουλ και τον Συμεών Αξέντη. Η εικόνα εντάσσεται στο καλλιτεχνικό ρεύμα που ακολουθεί τη δράση του Φιλίππου Γουλ και αποδίδεται τεχνοτροπικά στον Συμεών Αξέντη. Αποτελεί το πρώτο γνωστό φορητό έργο του ζωγράφου.

The icon Madre della Consolazione framed by apostles, saints, as well as two donors, from the church of the Panagia Eleousa at Zanatzia, Cyprus, bears the inscription: ΔΕΗ/CHC ΤΟΥ / ΔΟΥ ΛΟΥ / ΤΟΥ Θ(ΕΟ)Υ / ΜΑΝΟΕΛ / Τ(Ε)ΖΗΠΛΕΤ / 1510 [Deesis of the servant of God Manoel Teziplet]. This date places the framework of research between two painters who worked in Cyprus around the year 1500, Philippos Goul and Symeon Axentis. The icon belongs to the artistic trend fol lowing the work of Philippos Goul and stylistically is attributed to Symeon Axentis. It is the first known portable work of this artist.
