Ο γονέας ως δάσκαλος: σε ποιους άξονες της διδακτικής πράξης και σε τι βαθμό η ιδιότητα του γονέα φαίνεται να επηρεάζει το επαγγελματικό προφίλ του δασκάλου
The education sector has concerned for many years the communities of people which very early realized the significant influence that the proper education and teaching has upon the progress of people, and the progress of humanity as a whole. The correct way of teaching and transmission of knowledge have been the subject of intense reflection and studies across the years, and each society had different attitudes and beliefs concerning these matters. The role of the teacher in education is characterized as extremely important because it is the link between knowledge and the students and for this reason it has often been subject of study. This paper investigates the possible influence of parenting in the occupational profile of the teacher. The work is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical one. The first and theoretical part starts with a general reference to education and the education system from ancient Greece to nowadays. Afterwards there is a reference to the characteristics of the effective teacher and the effective teaching. An analysis of the significance of the relationship and communication between school and the family follows, and then a few studies are presented which are relevant to the issue of parental influence on the professional profile of teaching, focusing at the areas in which this influence was observed. In the second, practical part of this work a sample survey of 101 questionnaires is presented which was conducted for this study, and after the statistic analysis of the data by the program spss, a diagrammatic presentation is taking place and commentation of the results. At the end of the essay the general conclusions of the investigation are presented.
