Method of lines for analysis of crossing transmission lines with finite-thickness conductors (EN)

Papachristoforos, A (EN)

The semianalytical method of lines is used for the calculation of capacitances of crossing transmission lines with finite thickness conductors. Strip thickness is taken into consideration by grouping the potential lines separately across the x- and y-directions. Subsequently the matrices of second-order operators are constructed and a relation between potential lines for the x- and y-directions is developed. Finally, the resulting real symmetric five-diagonal matrix is analysed. © IEE, 1996. (EN)
