Evolution inclusions involving a difference term of subdifferentials and applications (EN)

Papageorgiou, NS (EN)

In this paper we study nonlinear evolution inclusions involving a difference term of subdifferentials and a multivalued state dependent, nonautonomous perturbation term. We prove three existence theorems under different hypotheses on the perturbation term. The last existence result concerns extremal trajectories. Then we show that the extremal trajectories are dense to the trajectories of the original system (strong relaxation theorem) and we investigate how the solution set depends on the data of the system including the two subdifferentials (sensitivity analysis). We also study some optimal control problems and work in detail four examples illustrating the applicability of our work. (EN)
