Description
We show here that it is possible to define an equivalent electric dipole of an intense laser pulse propagating in a nonlinear optical medium. We also show that in an inhomogeneous medium this equivalent dipole can be a source of new radiation processes. © 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. (EN)
