The identification of the Cretan poet Marino Faliero has been fulfilled when Van Gemert discovered that the older Marino Faliero, who was born by the 1395, had been married to Fiorenza Zeno, the starring maiden of his love poems. Two of them, "Love dream "and "Story and dream ", tell in a joking way the love story between the poet and his destined wife. Both seem to be related to Italian literature, particularly with Boccaccio's writings "NinfaleFie'solano''and "Amorosa Visione".
