Στην εργασία αυτή γίνεται ανασκόπηση των σπουδαιότερων γεγονότων που λαμβάνουν χώρα στο μαστικό εκκριτικό κύτταρο των μηρυκαστικών, κατά το μεταβολισμό των θρεπτικών συστατικών του αίματος που χρησιμοποιούνται ως πρόδρομες ουσίες των συστατικών του γάλατος.

A review of the most important events that take place in the mammary secretory cell of the ruminants, during the metabolism of the nutritive substances of the blood used as precursors of the milk constituents has been presented in this work.
