Απώτερος στόχος είναι η καταγραφή των μαθησιακών μονοπατιών των μαθητών σε αυτή τη θεματική περιοχή. Η ακολουθία εφαρμόστηκε με τη μέθοδο του διδακτικού πειράματος σε μικρές ομάδες μαθητών. Συμμετέχοντες ήταν 12 μαθητές Ε’ τάξης. Τα διδακτικά πειράματα βιντεοσκοπήθηκαν και ηχογραφήθηκαν. Για την ανάλυση των δεδομένων αξιοποιούνται ποιοτικές μέθοδοι ανάλυσης περιεχομένου.
