    "description" : "Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως στόχο την μελέτη και παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων της έρευνας που αφορά την πορεία της αποτελεσματικότητας της τράπεζας Πειραιώς έπειτα από τις πρόσφατες αλλαγές σε επίπεδο εξαγορών και συγχωνεύσεων. Η μελέτη αφορά την περίοδο 2009 με 2017, ενώ γίνεται διαχωρισμός της περιόδου σε προ και μετά περίοδο εξαγορών και συγχωνεύσεων. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια εισαγωγή στο χρηματοπιστωτικό σύστημα της χώρας καθώς και στο ορισμό των εμπορικών τραπεζών. Παρουσιάζεται η τράπεζα Πειραιώς, ενώ γίνονται προσπάθειες ανάλυσης των παραγόντων που οδήγησαν στην χρηματοοικονομική κρίση με έμφαση στον τραπεζικό τομέα. Στο επόμενο κεφάλαιο δίνεται ένας σύντομος αλλά περιεκτικός ορισμός των εννοιών της εξαγοράς και της συγχώνευσης. Στο κεφάλαιο τρία, παρουσιάζεται το θεωρητικό υπόβαθρο της μελέτης σε χρηματοοικονομικό επίπεδο. Αρχικά παρουσιάζεται ο ορισμός της οριζόντιας καθώς και της κάθετης ανάλυσης. Το βασικό μεθοδολογικό μοντέλο της εργασίας στηρίζεται στην ανάλυση των αριθμοδεικτών, όπου και αυτή παρουσιάζεται στο παραπάνω κεφάλαιο. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο, γίνεται παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων της χρηματοοικονομικής ανάλυσης της τράπεζας Πειραιώς με τη χρήση πινάκων και σχεδιαγραμμάτων. Ακολουθούν τα συμπεράσματα της μελέτης και το παράρτημα των ισολογισμών της τράπεζας Πειραιώς.",
