    "description" : "Σκοπός της μελέτης: ήταν η ανασκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας ως προς τα αίτια πρόκλησης και τους παράγοντες κινδύνου υπογονιμότητας, επικεντρώνοντας την ανασκόπηση στα εξωγενή αίτια. Η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε περιελάμβανε αναζήτηση ανασκοπικών και ερευνητικών μελετών, στην ηλεκτρονική βάση «pubmed» που αναφέρονταν στα αίτια  πρόκλησης και τους  παράγοντες κινδύνου υπογονιμότητας, καθώς και τους τρόπους διάγνωσης και θεραπείας. Κατά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες, έχει παρατηρηθεί αύξηση της συχνότητας εμφάνισης της υπογονιμότητας, παγκοσμίως. Σύμφωνα με τη βιβλιογραφία, στη σημερινή εποχή η υπογονιμότητα δεν προέρχεται μόνον από \nπροβλήματα υγείας αλλά μπορεί να είναι αποτέλεσμα επιλογών του σύγχρονου τρόπου ζωής. Τα αποτελέσματα πρόσφατων ερευνών έδειξαν, ότι ως προς το γυναικείο παράγοντα, τα προβλήματα από τις σάλπιγγες, τις ωοθήκες, τη μήτρα και οι διαταραχές  της έμμηνου ρύσεως αποτελούν τα κύρια αίτια υπογονιμότητας,  ενώ όσον αφορά τον ανδρικό παράγοντα, η κακή ποιότητα \nσπέρματος και η κιρσοκήλη. Άλλοι συνυπεύθυνοι παράγοντες  είναι περιβαλλοντικοί, κοινωνικό οικονομικοί, όπως επίσης η προχωρημένη ηλικία τεκνοποίησης και το κάπνισμα. Από τα αποτελέσματα της βιβλιογραφίας, διεξάγεται  το συμπέρασμα, ότι η υπογονιμότητα αποτελεί ένα σύνθετο πρόβλημα το οποίο απειλεί τις χώρες με έντονο δημογραφικό πρόβλημα. Η ενημέρωση των ζευγαριών ως προς τους παράγοντες κινδύνου αποτελεί το βασικότερο παράγοντα για την πρόληψη.",
