    "description" : "Η μονάδα αυτή αντιπροσωπεύει ένα ολοκληρωμένο σύστημα διαχείρισης κτηνοτροφικών αποβλήτων, με παραγωγή Ανανεώσιμης Πηγής Ενέργειας (ΑΠΕ), το βιοαέριο, και με σημαντικά οικονομικά και περιβαλλοντικά οφέλη.  \nΚτηνοτροφικά απόβλητα από διαφορετικές κτηνοτροφικές μονάδες της περιοχής συλλέγονται με κατάλληλα φορτηγά-βυτία και μεταφέρονται στην κεντρική Μονάδα, σε δεξαμενή προσυλλογής και αποθήκευσης, όπου και αναμιγνύονται, ομογενοποιούνται και με σύστημα αντλιών οδηγούνται στη δεξαμενή αναερόβιας χώνευσης. Εκεί πραγματοποιείται η διαδικασία της αναερόβιας χώνευσης, σε θερμοκρασίες 35 – 40οC (μεσόφιλη χώνευση), υπό ελεγχόμενες συνθήκες υγιεινής, μειώνοντας έτσι τη δραστηριότητα των παθογόνων οργανισμών, των οσμών και της μόλυνσης του περιβάλλοντος. Εν συνεχεία το βιοαέριο που παράγεται από την παραπάνω διαδικασία, οδηγείται σε κατάλληλο εξοπλισμό και αφού υποστεί διαδικασίες καθαρισμού, αφύγρανσης  και συμπίεσης τροφοδοτεί διάταξη συμπαραγωγής ηλεκτρικής και θερμικής ισχύος (αεριομηχανή και γεννήτρια), για παραγωγή ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας και θερμότητας.\nΟι θερμικές ανάγκες της εγκατάστασης καλύπτονται εξ’ ολοκλήρου από την παραγόμενη θερμότητα, μέσω συστήματος αντλιών και εναλλακτών. Ενώ η πλεονάζουσα θερμότητα, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για την εξυπηρέτηση παρακείμενου θερμοκηπίου και το χωνευμένο υπόλειμμα (ιλύς), με κατάλληλες διαδικασίες διαχωρισμού και αφύγρανσης, μπορεί να μετατραπεί σε στερεό (εδαφοβελτιωτικό) και υγρό λίπασμα.",
