    "description" : "Η επεξεργασία των  υγρών απόβλητων των ελαιουργείων  είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η Ελλάδα και γενικότερα η περιοχή της Μεσογείου καθώς σε Ελλάδα, Ισπανία και Ιταλία παράγονται οι περισσότερες ποσότητες ελαιολάδου. Είναι αξιοσημείωτο πως το ρυπαντικό φορτίο των υγρών αποβλήτων των ελαιουργείων είναι μεγαλύτερο από αυτό των αστικών αποβλήτων. Η αντιμετώπιση του προβλήματος είναι ιδιαίτερη δύσκολη καθώς οι μέθοδοι που χρησιμοποιούνται σήμερα οι περισσότερες δεν εξαλείφουν το πρόβλημα ενώ και οικονομικά δεν είναι βιώσιμες, έχοντας κατά νου πως τα περισσότερα ελαιουργεία είναι επιχειρήσεις μικρής ή μεσαίας κλίμακας και δεν μπορούν να αντέξουν το κόστος της εγκατάστασης τέτοιων συστημάτων.\nΣτην Ελλάδα, λειτουργούν περίπου 3500 ελαιοτριβεία διασκορπισμένα κατά κύριο λόγο στην Κρήτη, στην Πελοπόννησο και στα Νησιά του Ιονίου και του βορείου Αιγαίου. Η λειτουργία των ελαιοτριβείων είναι εποχιακή επί το πλείστον με περίοδο λειτουργίας από τον Νοέμβριο μέχρι τον Μάρτιο και σε κάποιες περιπτώσεις μέχρι τον Ιούνιο.\nΣκοπός της παρούσης εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση των μεθόδων επεξεργασίας των υγρών αποβλήτων των ελαιουργείων και η παρουσίαση των πλεονεκτημάτων και μειονεκτημάτων κάθε μεθόδου.",
