    "description" : "Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει μελέτες και εφαρμογές αειφόρου ανάπτυξης και πιο συγκεκριμένα, παραδείγματα υφιστάμενων τάσεων στο σχεδιασμό μιας αειφορικής πόλης. Προτού όμως εμβαθύνουμε στο θέμα της\nαειφορικής πόλης και της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης σε εθνικό, ευρωπαϊκό και παγκόσμιο επίπεδο, πρέπει να κατανοήσουμε κάποιες βασικές έννοιες που σχετίζονται άμεσα ή έμμεσα με το ζήτημα της Βιώσιμης Αστικής Ανάπτυξης (ΒΑΑ), όπως η Αειφορία, η Αειφόρος Ανάπτυξη, η Αστικοποίηση, τα Ορυκτά Καύσιμα, οι Ανανεώσιμες Πηγές Ενέργειας (ΑΠΕ) κ.α.\nΑναφέρονται οι επικρατούσες συνθήκες στη Διαχείριση της\nενέργειας και την Προστασία του Περιβάλλοντος, ενώ παράλληλα γίνεται μια παρουσίαση του θεσμικού πλαισίου και της αντίστοιχης πολιτικής που ακολουθείται\nσε παγκόσμιο, ευρωπαϊκό και ελληνικό επίπεδο. \nΑναφέρεται στα χαρακτηριστικά της αειφόρου πόλης\nκαι ειδικότερα στις βιώσιμες αστικές μορφές και δομές, μοντέλα οργάνωσης χρήσεων γης και μεταφορών και παρουσιάζει τα διλήμματα που προκύπτουν, μέσα από κριτική σκοπιά. Επίσης γίνεται αναφορά στις αρχές του βιοκλιματικού\nσχεδιασμού σε οικιστικό επίπεδο.",
