Παράλληλα επιτρέπει την διεξαγωγή απομακρυσμένων διασταυρώσεων που δεν γίνονται με τις κλασσικές τεχνικές, τη δημιουργία παραλλακτικότητας και την αποθήκευση γενετικού υλικού. \n   Η εργασία αυτή αφορά την ασηπτική βλάστηση σπόρων ντομάτας.\n   Από τα αποτελέσματα του πειραματισμού προέκυψε ότι εφόσον τηρούνται ορισμένες προϋποθέσεις μπορεί να επιτευχθεί η ασηπτική βλάστηση των σπόρων με μεγάλο ποσοστό επιτυχίας.",
