    "description" : "Η χρήση των μετάλλων στην κοινωνία μας βρίσκει μεγάλο πεδίο εφαρμογής. Χρησιμοποιείται σε πλήθος κατασκευών και σε εφαρμογές όπου απαιτείται υψηλή αντοχή σε διάβρωση. Με\nτην πρόσμιξη κραματικών στοιχείων μπορούμε να αυξήσουμε την σκληρότητα και την αντίσταση σε φθορά και τριβή ανάλογα με τα ποσοστά των κραματικών στοιχείων. Τα στοιχεία τα οποία προστίθενται στα μέταλλα έχουν στόχο να βελτιώσουν την δομή, τις μηχανικές του ιδιότητες και την αντοχή σε φθορά και διάβρωση. Στο πλαίσιο του έργου  σχετικά με την ολοκληρωμένη πρόληψη και έλεγχο της ρύπανσης από τη βιομηχανία μετάλλων.Αναφέρεται στο νομικό πλαίσιο που αφορά τις βιομηχανίες στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και στην Ελλάδα, καθώς και σε μερικά από τα σημεία της Οδηγίας 96/61/ΕΚ.  Παρουσιάζονται οι διαδικασίες που ακολουθούνται κατά την παραγωγή χάλυβα με ηλεκτρικό τόξο, χυτοσιδήρου με ορθοκάμινο Cupola και προϊόντων θερμής έλασης.  \nΠαρουσιάζονται οι εκπομπές στην ατμόσφαιρα, τα υγρά και στερεά απόβλητα κατά τα παραγωγικά στάδια που αναφέρθηκαν \nέχει ως θέμα τις τεχνικές πρόληψης της ρύπανσης, καθώς και τις Βέλτιστες Διαθέσιμες Τεχνικές κατά και μετά την παραγωγική διαδικασία για νέες και υφιστάμενες μονάδες. \nΟ κλάδος των μη σιδηρούχων και πολύτιμων μετάλλων είναι το θέμα της δεύτερης υποενότητας, η οποία είναι διαρθρωμένη ως εξής: διαδικασίες που ακολουθούνται κατά την παραγωγή αλουμινίου, χαλκού, μολύβδου και χρυσού.  Εκπομπές κατά την παραγωγή αλουμινίου, χαλκού, μολύβδου και χρυσού.  \nΒέλτιστες Διαθέσιμες Τεχνικές κατά και μετά την παραγωγική διαδικασία για νέες και υφιστάμενες μονάδες.",
