    "description" : "Ο τουρισμός αποτελεί μια δραστηριότητα άμεσα συνδεδεμένη με την τάση του ανθρώπου για επικοινωνία, ψυχαγωγία και απόκτηση νέων εμπειριών. Με αρχή του την αρχαιότητα συνεχίζεται ακόμα και σήμερα αλλάζοντας από εποχή σε εποχή και προσαρμόζεται στις εκάστοτε ανάγκες του τουριστικού κοινού. Είναι δυνατόν να διαχωριστεί σε διάφορες κατηγορίες ανάλογα τον λόγο που αυτός γίνεται και τις δραστηριότητες που περιλαμβάνει. Όπως όλες οι δραστηριότητες έτσι και ο τουρισμός, παρουσιάζει επιπτώσεις άλλοτε θετικές και άλλοτε αρνητικές για τους χώρους στους οποίους συμβαίνει. Για το λόγο αυτό είναι αναγκαίο οι τουριστικοί προορισμοί να βρίσκονται σε επαγρύπνηση και συνεχή προσαρμογή στη ραγδαία εξέλιξη που παρατηρείται. Στην Τήνο ο τουρισμός τα τελευταία χρόνια παρουσιάζει σημαντική εξέλιξη και αναβάθμιση. Το κυκλαδονήσι αυτό που χαρακτηρίζεται από πλούσια ιστορία και έντονο θρησκευτικό ενδιαφέρον δεν υστερεί σε τίποτα από τα υπόλοιπα τουριστικά νησιά της χώρας. Τα έντονα πολιτιστικά στοιχεία και η ανεξερεύνητη φυσική ομορφιά προσελκύουν τα τελευταία χρόνια σημαντικό αριθμό επισκεπτών, μετατρέποντας το νησί σε έναν τουριστικό προορισμό για όλα τα ενδιαφέροντα και τις ηλικίες και αποβάλλοντας σταδιακά το απόλυτα θρησκευτικό ενδιαφέρον που μέχρι τώρα παρουσίαζε. Η παρούσα πτυχιακή έγινε με σκοπό να μελετηθεί η πορεία του τουρισμού στο νησί και να διερευνηθούν οι πιθανές δυνατότητες περεταίρω εξέλιξης και αναβάθμισης των ήδη υπαρχουσών παροχών. Με στατιστικά στοιχεία από όλους τους σχετικούς τουριστικούς φορείς βλέπουμε τις μεγάλες διαφοροποιήσεις της πορείας του νησιού, καταλήγοντας σε συμπεράσματα ενθαρρυντικά για το μέλλον του τόπου αφού η ανανέωση είναι έντονη και ο εναλλακτικός τουρισμός σε σημαντική ανάπτυξη.",
