    "description" : "Ο ποιοτικός έλεγχος είναι μια διαδικασία κατά την οποία καταγράφονται οι αποκλίσεις των προϊόντων από δεδομένες προδιαγραφές. Αποτελεί μία επιστήμη, η οποία βασίζεται κυρίως σε φυσικούς και χημικούς προσδιορισμούς, στους οποίους στη συνέχεια γίνεται στατιστική επεξεργασία. Για να εξασφαλισθεί όμως ότι το τελικό προϊόν που φτάνει στα χέρια του καταναλωτή θα είναι σύμφωνο με τις συγκεκριμένες προδιαγραφές, χρησιμοποιείται το σύστημα διασφάλισης ποιότητας. Όταν οι έλεγχοι στα γεωργικά προϊόντα είναι περιοδικοί, τότε μειώνεται η πιθανότητα να εμφανίζονται ελαττωματικά προϊόντα. Όταν ελέγχονται όλες οι μονάδες στην αλυσίδα διάθεσης των γεωργικών προϊόντων, εκμηδενίζεται η πιθανότητα να εμφανισθούν ελαττωματικά προϊόντα. \nΓια αυτούς που ασχολούνται με τον ποιοτικό έλεγχο των φρούτων η μέτρηση της ποιότητας παρουσιάζει πολλές δυσκολίες στην πράξη. Η χρησιμοποίηση μεθόδων υποκειμενικών ή αντικειμενικών αφήνει πάντα ερωτηματικά αν η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθείται πλησιάζει τις επιθυμίες του καταναλωτή να δέχεται ή να απορρίπτει το προϊόν.",
