Η εργασία χωρίζεται σε τρία κεφάλαια που αρχικά στο πρώτο γίνεται περιγραφή της εγκατάστασης, αναφορά στα στάδια επεξεργασίας λυμάτων και ανάλυση στο τρόπο επεξεργασίας τους.\n Το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αφορά τον ηλεκτρομηχανολογικό εξοπλισμό του συστήματος, δείχνοντας στον αναγνώστη της εργασίας τον τρόπο επιλογής των φυσητήρων, των αναδευτήρων και των αντλιών της εγκατάστασης και ποιο συγκεκριμένα στην επιλογή των ηλεκτρικών κινητήρων του εξοπλισμού, δίνοντας ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα στον τρόπο επιλογής αντλιών.\n Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται η αναλυτική περιγραφή της λειτουργίας του βιολογικού καθαρισμού καθώς και ο τρόπος ανάπτυξης του συστήματος αυτοματισμού και ελέγχου της εγκατάστασης.",
