    "description" : "Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως αρχικό σκοπό να τονίσει το γεωλογικό ενδιαφέρον του ατμοηλεκτρικού σταθμού του Α.Η.Σ Μεγαλόπολης αλλά και τον ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα της ευρύτερης περιοχής όπως η γεωμορφολογία, τεκτονική κ.α. Στο κομμάτι της γεωλογίας περιγράφονται αναλυτικά τα στρωματά από τα οποία αποτελούνται τα κοιτάσματα των ορυχείων καθώς και οι γύρω περιοχές. Στην συνεχεία δίδονται όλα τα φυσικά και χημικά χαρακτηριστικά του λιγνίτη Μεγαλόπολης όπως και η αυτανάφλεξη αυτού.\nΗ εκμετάλλευση και η μέθοδος εξόρυξης περιγράφονται στο πιο κάτω μέρος της εργασίας . Στο συγκεκριμένο σημείο αναφέρεται ο τρόπος που εξορύσσεται ο λιγνίτης, τα μηχανικά μέσα που συντελούν σε αυτή, και η διαίρεση των κοιτασμάτων σε τομές.\nΟι ετήσιες ποσότητες εξορυσσόμενου λιγνίτη, οι ποσότητες προς εξόρυξη μέχρι το πέρας της εκμετάλλευσης οι εσωτερικές , και οι εξωτερικές αποθέσεις λιγνίτη και άγονων υλικών περιγράφονται στη συνεχεία.\nΕκτός του γεωλογικού τμήματος της εργασίας σκοπός της άσκησης είναι να αναφέρω και τον περιβαλλοντικό τομέα.",
