Ο σκοπός της παρούσα εργασίας είναι να αποδείξει ότι οι ανανεωσιμες πηγές ενέργειας είναι μια εναλλακτική λύση για να \nπεριοριστεί η ρύπανση του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος  από την παραγωγή ενέργειας αλλά απ’ την άλλη όμως έχουν και αρνητικές \nπεριβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις. Ευτυχώς όμως σε μικρότερο βαθμό από την παραγωγή \nενέργειας με καύσιμη πρώτη ύλη.\nΟι ΑΠΕ δεν έχουν ημερομηνία λήξης, αφού έχουν διαρκή ανανέωση. Τα αποθέματα των ορυκτών καυσίμων όμως του πλανήτη (άνθρακας και πετρέλαιο) που δεν είναι ανανεώσιμα σε προβλέψιμο χρονικό διάστημα θα εξαντληθούν.\nΕπιπλέον η κατανάλωση ορυκτών καυσίμων προκάλεσε και συνεχίζει να προκαλεί σημαντικές \nεπιπτώσεις στο περιβάλλον.\nΗ  προώθησ\nη  των  Α.Π.Ε.  και η  εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας  μπορούν  να δημιουργήσουν εκατομμύρια νέες, πράσινες θέσεις εργασίας, να συμβάλουν στην προώθηση \nτης καινοτομίας, της πράσινης επιχειρηματικότητας και της μετατροπής των πολιτών σε παραγωγούς πράσινης ενέργειας αντί\nγια αχαλίνωτους καταναλωτές ενέργειας. Η απεξάρτηση από τα ορυκτά καύσιμα είναι ο μόνος δρόμος για διασφάλιση\nτης ενεργειακής ασφάλειας και ανεξαρτησίας.\nΠέρα από την αλλαγή πολιτικών απαιτείται και μια νέα κουλτούρα από την κοινωνία που θα οδηγήσει στην \nπροώθηση των Α.Π.Ε.. Τα έργα των Α.Π.Ε. πρέπει να \nαντιμετωπίζονται και να είναι δράσεις για την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Αν \nκαι κάθε έργο έχει στον ένα ή στον άλλο βαθμό επιπτώσεις στο περιβάλλον, τα έργα Α.Π.Ε.  έχουν θετικό  περιβαλλοντικό ισοζύγιο. Η \nκαλύτερη διαφήμιση για τις \nΑ.Π.Ε. είναι να γίνονται με τον μεγαλύτερο βαθμό περιβαλλοντικής υπευθυνότητας \nώστε να αποτελούν επίδειξη καλών πρακτικών περιβαλλοντικής προστασίας.\nΓια την ελαχιστοποίηση των επιπτώσεων από τις Α.Π.Ε.:\nΌσον αφορά στο ζήτημα της\nχωροθέτησης, της εγκατάστασης και λειτουργίας \nεγκαταστάσεων Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών Ενέργειας (Α.Π.Ε.), είτε πρόκειται για αιολικά\nείτε για φωτοβολταϊκά πάρκα είτε πρόκειται για άλλα έργα όπως οι αντλησι\nο\nταμιευτήρες κ.ά., είναι αυτονόητο ότι πρέπει να υποβάλλον\nται οι απαραίτητες Μελέτες \nΠεριβαλλοντικών Επιπτώσεων (Μ.Π.Ε.) στις οποίες θα εξετάζονται οι εναλλακτικές λύσεις και μεταξύ άλλων θα λαμβάνονται υπόψη οδηγίες για το σωστό σχεδιασμό και υλοποίηση έργων Α.Π.Ε. και να εγκρίνονται μετά από διαβούλευση, όπως \nάλλωστε επιτάσσει η νομοθεσία.",
