    "description" : "Το βασικό διεθνές πρότυπο που καθορίζει τις προδιαγραφές για την ανάπτυξη και\nεφαρμογή Συστημάτων Περιβαλλοντικής Διαχείρισης είναι το πρότυπο ISO 14001:1996\nπου   αναπτύχθηκε   από   τον   οργανισμό   ISO   (International   Organisation   for\nStandardisation). Το πρότυπο αυτό ανήκει στην σειρά διεθνών προτύπων ISO 14000.\nΠαράλληλα   με   το   πρότυπο   ISO   14001:1996,   έχει   θεσπισθεί   και   ο   Ευρωπαϊκός\nΚανονισμός EMAS.\nΤα οφέλη που μπορεί να έχει ο ΑΗΣ Αγίου Δημητρίου, από την εισαγωγή και την\nεφαρμογή του Συστήματος Περιβαλλοντικής Διαχείρισης \nISO\n 14001 είναι κυρίως τα εξής: \nπροστασία του περιβάλλοντος, απόδειξη συμμόρφωσης με τη νομοθεσία, φήμη του σταθμού, μείωση κόστους από εξοικονόμηση, μείωση της πιθανότητας ατυχημάτων, βελτίωση συνθηκών προς όφελος των κατοίκων της τοπικής κοινωνίας.\nΣυνεπώς κάθε προσπάθεια της διοίκησης του ΑΗΣ Αγ. Δημητρίου, που έχει στόχο τη\nβελτίωση της περιβαλλοντικής του απόδοσης, μπορεί να νοηθεί ως επένδυση.\nΉδη πολλές επιχειρήσεις στην Ελλάδα έχουν εγκαταστήσει Σύστημα Περιβαλλοντικής\nΔιαχείρισης σύμφωνα με το πρότυπο ISO 14000. Σημαντικά μικρότερος είναι ο αριθμός\nτων εταιρειών που έχουν προχωρήσει και στην εφαρμογή του Ευρωπαϊκού Κανονισμού\nEMAS.",
