Μια από τις πλέον διαδεδομένες μεθόδους είναι αυτή που πραγματοποιείται μέσω του Ηλεκτρονικού Εμπορίου.\nΤα ψηφιακά δίκτυα και οι επικοινωνιακές υποδομές προσφέρουν μια παγκόσμια βάση πάνω στην οποία άνθρωποι και οργανισμοί αλληλεπιδρούν, επικοινωνούν, συνεργάζονται και αναζητούν πληροφορίες. \nΗ ψηφιακή οικονομία περιλαμβάνει το ηλεκτρονικό εμπόριο που είναι απλά η ηλεκτρονική διαχείριση των εμπορικών συναλλαγών, κυρίως μέσω του διαδικτύου, ανάμεσα σε γεωγραφικά απομακρυσμένα συμβαλλόμενα μέρη. \nΤο ηλεκτρονικό εμπόριο έχει αποτελέσει το αντικείμενο μεγάλης συζήτησης κατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων δεκαετιών και πιστεύεται ότι έχει επιφέρει επανάσταση στο χώρο των επιχειρήσεων για πολλαπλούς λόγους. \nΜερικοί από αυτούς είναι η διευκόλυνση της πρόσβασης στις παγκόσμιες αγορές, η επέκταση των ωρών λειτουργίας των οργανισμών, η μείωση των δαπανών των συναλλαγών, η βελτίωση του επιπέδου εξυπηρέτησης των πελατών, η μείωση του κύκλου παροχής υπηρεσιών και ολοκλήρωσης συναλλαγών και η βελτίωση της αγοραστικής ικανότητας των πελατών. \nΣτη συγκεκριμένη εργασία πρώτα θα αναλυθεί η έννοια του Ηλεκτρονικού Εμπορίου και στη συνέχεια θα οριοθετηθεί το γενικό πλαίσιο του όρου και θα αναλυθούν όλες οι παράμετροι που το αποτελούν καθώς θα παρουσιαστούν και τα ετήσια απολογιστικά στοιχεία και οι τρόποι αποφυγής λαθών κατά τη χρήση του ηλεκτρονικού εμπορίου.",
