Τα μπαρ τα οποία προσφέρουν fe ΙΛ’ ψυχαγωγία και ζωντανή μουσική που συχνά αναφέρεται οος μουσική μπαρ ή νυχτερινά\nκέντρα.   Έχουν υπάρξει πολλά ονόματα σε όλη την ιστορία για τις εγκαταστάσεις όπου οι άνθρωποι μαζεύονται για να πίνουν αλκοολούχα ποτά. Ακόμα και όταν μια εγκατάσταση χρησιμοποιεί διαφορετικό όνομα, όπως \"ταβέρνα\", η περιοχή της εγκατάστασης, όπου ο μπάρμαν χύνει μίγματα αλκοολούχων ποτών συνήθως ονομάζεται «μπαρ».\n Σε πολλές περιοχές το pool bar είναι σχετικά άγνωστο, ειδικά σε οικιακές πισίνες. Όταν εμφανίστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην αγορά, τα pool bars ως επί το πλείστον βρίσκονταν σε δημοφιλείς προορισμούς διακοπών, δηλαδή την Καραϊβική. Θα ήταν, και εξακολουθούν να είναι μια δημοφιλής έλξη σε πολλά δημοφιλή ξενοδοχεία και θέρετρα.",
