    "description" : "Η  καλλιέργεια  του  βαμβακιού  έχει  μεγάλο  οικονομικό  ενδιαφέρον  και  δεν  απαιτεί  μόνο  γνώσεις  τεχνικής , όπως  γενικά  πιστεύεται, αλλά  και  επιστημονική  κατάρτιση.\n   \t  Στην  αρχή  της  εργασίας,  εκτίθονται  σε  γενικές  γραμμές,  το  ιστορικό  της  καλλιέργειας  και  στη  συνεχεία  ακολουθούν  τα  γενικά  χαρακτηριστικά  της  Επαρχίας  Γιαννιτσών  όπου  καλλιεργείται  το  μεγαλύτερο  ποσοστό  βαμβακιών  (φυσικά  και  γεωγραφικά  στοιχεία),  η  κατανομή  των  εκτάσεων,  η  οργάνωση  της  παραγωγής,  η  περιγραφή  του  φυτού  και  η  περιγραφή  της  καλλιέργειας.\n     \t Στα  πλαίσια  της  εργασίας  αυτής  περιγράφονται  τα  κυριότερα  έντομα  εδάφους,  μυζητικά – ακάρεα,  μασητικά  έντομα,  ζιζάνια,  και  οι  κυριότερες  ασθένειες  του  βαμβακιού  και  των  προβλημάτων  που  προκαλούν  αυτά  στους  αγρούς,  καθώς  και  οι  μέθοδοι  αντιμετώπισης τους.  Τα  έντομα – ακάρεα – ζιζάνια  ανήκουν  στους  σπουδαιότερους  εχθρούς  των  καλλιεργειών  εξαιτίας  του  ότι  μειώνουν  σημαντικά  την  παραγωγή  και  υποβαθμίζουν  την  ποιότητα  των  παραγόμενων  προϊόντων.  Η  μείωση  της  απόδοσης  και  η  υποβάθμιση  της  ποιότητας,  συνδυαζόμενες  με  τις  δαπάνες  χρήσης  των  εντομοκτόνων – ακαρεοκτόνων – ζιζανιοκτόνων,  έχουν  σαν  αποτέλεσμα  την  αύξηση  του  κόστους  παραγωγής  των  καλλιεργούμενων  φυτών.\n    \t Με  βάση  τα  στοιχεία  που  συλλέχθηκαν  στα  πλαίσια  της  εργασίας  αυτής  γίνεται  ανακεφαλαίωση  των  σπουδαιότερων  συμπερασμάτων.\n     \tΠροκείμενου  να  διαπιστωθούν  τα  προβλήματα  και  οι  δυσκολίες  που  αντιμετωπίζουν  οι  βαμβακοπαραγωγοί  της  επαρχίας  Γιαννιτσών  συντάχθηκε  ένα  ερωτηματολόγιο,  το  οποίο  υποβλήθηκε  και  συμπληρώθηκε  από  50  βαμβακοπαραγωγούς  στις  αρχές  του  2005  (παράρτημα).",
