    "description" : "Η βιολογική γεωργία είναι ένα σύστημα παραγωγής αγροτικών προϊόντων που στηρίζεται σε φυσικές διεργασίες, στη μη χρήση χημικών συνθετικών λιπασμάτων και φυτοφαρμάκων και στη χρησιμοποίηση μη χημικών μεθόδων στην αντιμετώπιση εχθρών, ασθενειών και ζιζανίων. Αντιπροσωπεύει την περιβαλλοντικά, κοινωνικά και οικονομικά υγιή παραγωγή τροφίμων και βιομηχανικών πρώτων υλών.\nΗ εναλλακτική αυτή μορφή γεωργίας έχει κάνει σημαντικά βήματα ανάπτυξης τα τελευταία χρόνια και η διάδοσή της πραγματοποιείται με γρήγορους ρυθμούς στην Ευρώπη και διεθνώς. Στην Ελλάδα παρόλο που τα ποσοστά αύξησης της βιολογικά καλλιεργούμενης γης κάθε χρόνο είναι σημαντικά, στο σύνολο η βιολογική γεωργία κατέχει ένα πολύ μικρό ποσοστό της καλλιεργήσιμης γης.\nΣτη δυτική πλευρά του νομού Φλώρινας, στην Πρέσπα, εντοπίζεται ένα μικρό ποσοστό της συνολικής βιολογικά καλλιεργούμενης γης στην Ελλάδα. Η κύρια ασχολία της πλειοψηφίας των κατοίκων της Πρέσπας είναι η γεωργία και ειδικότερα η καλλιέργεια του φασολιού. Η περιοχή μάλιστα τείνει προς την εντατική μονοκαλλιέργεια του φασολιού και στη σχεδόν πλήρη εγκατάλειψη των άλλων τύπων καλλιεργειών. Στην περίοδο 1980-1993 έχουμε μια αύξηση των καλλιεργούμενων με φασόλι εκτάσεων κατά 2,5 φορές και πλέον ενώ η αύξηση του παραγόμενου προϊόντος κυμαίνεται στις 3,3 φορές περίπου.\nΣυμπερασματικά,  οι προοπτικές ανάπτυξης της βιολογικής γεωργίας στην περιοχή Πρεσπών είναι καλές, παρόλο που δεν υπάρχει σαφής εικόνα για την οικονομικότητά της. Εξάλλου, η ανάλυση της οικονομικότητας της βιολογικής γεωργίας δεν υπολογίζει το περιβαλλοντικό όφελος που προκύπτει από την εφαρμογή της.",
