Ο αναγνώστης μυείται στην διαχείριση του σκοπού, του χρόνου, του κόστους, της ποιότητας, των ανθρώπινων πόρων, των επικοινωνιών και των κινδύνων ενός έργου.\n\nΣτο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια προσέγγιση στην συστημική ανάλυση του προβλήματος, προσπαθώντας να αρθεί η απόκλιση μεταξύ της υφιστάμενης κατάστασης της ελλιπούς διαχείρισης τεχνικών έργων και της επιθυμητής κατάστασης της ορθής και αποδοτικής διαχείρισης.\n\nΣτο τρίτο κεφάλαιο πραγματώνεται μια ενδελεχής εμβάθυνση στα κύρια μέρη του έργου. Με αρωγό την χρήση του προγράμματος Primavera Project Planer, γίνεται η διαχείριση του οικοδομικού έργου.\nΣτο τέταρτο και τελευταίο κεφάλαιο αναλύονται οι τεχνικές εκτίμησης και διαχείρισης έργων. Επεξηγούνται οι αρχές διαχείρισης κινδύνου, η μέθοδος προσομοίωσης Monte Carlo και η διαχείριση της αβεβαιότητας με την χρήση τριών σημείων. Τέλος πραγματώνεται μια εφαρμογή στο υπό μελέτη οικοδομικό έργο αναλύοντας τον κίνδυνο για το συνολικό κόστος και τη συνολική διάρκεια του.",
