    "description" : "Σκοπός της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η κατανόηση, της σημαντικής σχέσης μεταξύ οικονομίας και περιβάλλοντος, πως δηλαδή, οι επιπτώσεις του περιβάλλοντος επηρεάζουν την οικονομία. Επειδή οι παράμετροι του περιβάλλοντος που επηρεάζονται από την ρύπανση είναι πάρα πολλοί, αρχικά γίνεται μια προσπάθεια περιληπτικής παρουσίασής τους. Κύριος σκοπός είναι η αποφυγή εκτενών περιγραφικών κειμένων, που δεν μπορούν να αφήσουν τον μελετητή να εστιάσει στα στοιχειά εκείνα, που θα αποτελέσουν εργαλείο μελέτης στην οικονομική ανάλυση. Στη συνέχεια αναφέρονται κάποιες από τις πιο σημαντικές μεθόδους οικονομικής αποτίμησης του περιβάλλοντος. Οι πιο πολλές έχουν σαν κύριο χαρακτηριστικό, ότι βασίζονται στην έρευνα και σε στατιστικά στοιχεία από ερωτηματολόγια. Ωστόσο θα διαπιστώσουμε, χρησιμοποιώντας αυτές τις μεθόδους, ότι η προσεκτική ανάλυση των στοιχείων σε πολλές περιπτώσεις δεν αρκεί, χωρίς την κριτική σκέψη του μελετητή. Τέλος παρατίθενται απλά παραδείγματα οικονομικής αποτίμησης, ώστε να μπορέσει ο μελετητής, χωρίς να δυσκολευτεί να τα χρησιμοποιήσει για να μελετήσει σημαντικά και ποικίλα περιβαλλοντικά προβλήματα.",
