Οι τουρίστες τρίτης ηλικίας έχουν ιδιαίτερες απαιτήσεις και ανάγκες ενώ ο κοινωνικός τουρισμός προσπαθεί να καλύψει τις ανάγκες αυτές των ατόμων τρίτης ηλικίας αλλά και όλων των ευπαθών ομάδων. Όπως φαίνεται και από το ερευνητικό κομμάτι της εργασίας οι περισσότεροι κάνουν χρήση του κοινωνικού τουρισμού και φαίνονται αρκετά ικανοποιημένοι από αυτόν.",
