    "description" : "Στο  πλαίσιο  της  εργασίας  θα  παρουσιαστούν  αρχικά  ορισμένα  γενικά \nστοιχεία  για  τη  ρύπανση  του  περιβάλλοντος,  και  ειδικότερα  οι  κυριότερες \nκατηγορίες των ανθρωπογενών πηγών ρύπανσης του περιβάλλοντος. Ακόμη, \nθα  σχολιαστούν  αναλυτικά  οι  επιπτώσεις  των  γεωργικών  και  κτηνοτροφικών \nδραστηριοτήτων  στη  ρύπανση  του  περιβάλλοντος,  ενώ  ιδιαίτερη  βαρύτητα  θα \nδοθεί  και  στους τρόπους  προστασίας  του περιβάλλοντος,  αναφέροντας  και  την \nπολιτική που εφαρμόζεται. Οι γεωργικές και οι κτηνοτροφικές δραστηριότητες, συγκαταλέγονται ανάμεσα στις κυριότερες αιτίες ρύπανσης του περιβάλλοντος. Τα λιπάσματα, τα φυτοφάρμακα, τα παρασιτοκτόνα που χρησιμοποιούνται αλόγιστα στη γεωργία, αλλά και τα απόβλητα των κτηνοτροφικών εκμεταλλεύσεων, αποτελούν τις βασικότερες πηγές ρύπανσης των εδαφών. Βέβαια, οι τοξικές και επικίνδυνες αυτές χημικές ουσίες ρυπαίνουν τοπικά το έδαφος, διασκορπίζονται όμως και σε άλλα περιβαλλοντικά διαμερίσματα και τελικώς εκπλύνονται στα διάφορα υδάτινα συστήματα. Τα λιπάσματα συμβάλλουν στην αύξηση της γεωργικής παραγωγής, ωστόσο η χρήση τους, έχει ως αποτέλεσμα την ελάττωση της σταθερότητάς της δομής του εδάφους και τη μείωση της γονιμότητας του. Τα φυτοφάρμακα ανιχνεύονται σε υψηλές συγκεντρώσεις στους ποταμούς, στα ύδατα λιμναίων και παράκτιων περιοχών, εξαιτίας της έκπλυσης των υπολειμμάτων τους από τις γεωργικές καλλιέργειες.",
