    "description" : [ "Στην παρούσα εργασία περιγράφεται η ανάπτυξη μια βασικής δομής κυτταρικού βιοαισθητήρα,\nβασιζόμενου στη μέθοδο Βιοηλεκτρικής Αναγνώρισης (Bioelectric Recognition Assay - BERA) ο\nοποίος θα μπορεί να ανιχνεύει σε ελάχιστο χρόνο και με ικανοποιητική ευαισθησία υπολείμματα\nαπό τα φυτοπροστατευτικά σκευάσματα: carbendazim, triclopyr, 2-orthopolyphenol και MCPA.\nΓια τον σκοπό αυτό χρησιμοποιήθηκαν μεμβρανικά τροποποιημένα βακτηριακά κύτταρα\nLactobacillus brevis., αποσκοπώντας στην ανάπτυξη κυτταρικών στοιχείων βιοαναγνώρισης με\nχαμηλότερο κόστος και υψηλή αποθηκευσιμότητα. Η διαδικασία της μεμβρανικής μηχανικής\nεπιτυγχάνεται με την ηλεκτροεισαγωγή αντισωμάτων στις μεμβράνες των κυττάρων, μέσω της\nηλεκτροπόρωσης. \nΣυνολικά μελετήθηκε η απόκριση των κυτταρικών βιοαισθητήρων σε  συγκεντρώσεις MRL και\n2Χ MRL, πέραν του μάρτυρα. H ανίχνευση βασίστηκε στη μέτρηση των μεταβολών της\nηλεκτρικής απόκρισης των τροποποιημένων κυττάρων, σύμφωνα με την αρχή λειτουργίας της\nμεθόδου BERA. \nΣυνοψίζοντας, αξίζει να αναφερθεί ότι τα αποτελέσματα της μεταπτυχιακής μελέτης  αυτής\nπροσφέρουν νέες προοπτικές στον τομέα των κυτταρικών βιοαισθητήρων για την ανάλυση\nυπολειμμάτων φυτοφαρμάκων. Έτσι δημιουργείται μία ακόμα προϋπόθεση για τη δυνητική\nανάπτυξη οικονομικότερων και πρακτικότερων κυτταρικών βιοαισθητήρων σε εμπορική κλίμακα\nστην Ελλάδα.", "In this study, we developed a cellular biosensor for the detection of residues of four(4)\npesticides: carbendazim, triclopyr, 2-polyphenol and mcpa. The biosensor was based on the\nprinciple of the bioelectric recognition assay (BERA), with the purpose to detect the target\nanalyte in minimum time and with adequate accuracy. For this purpose, we used membraneengineered\n\nbacterial cells of Lactobacillus brevis., in order to achieve low cost and high\nstorability of the cellular biorecognition elements  The membrane-engineering process is\nachieved by mechanical electro insertion of antibodies in cell membrane using electroporation. \nWe studied the response of cell biosensors in two of the Minimum Residue Level (MRL)\nconcentrations of pesticides, 1xMRL and 2xMRL. The detection of pesticides was based on the\nmeasurement of changes in electrical response of the modified cells according to the principle\nof the test BERA. \nTo sum up, it is worth mentioning that the results of this study give new perspectives at the field\nof cellular biosensors for the detection of pesticides residues. Thus, it sets the grounds for the\npotential development for less expensive and more practical cellular biosensors from the labscale\nto\nthe\ncommercial\nscale\nin\nGreece." ],
