Στο κείμενο που ακολουθεί, θα προσπαθήσω να περιγράψω την κατάσταση της πληροφορικής στο ιρλανδικόεκπαιδευτικό σύστημα σε πρωτοβάθμιο και δευτεροβάθμιο επίπεδο, καθώς και τιςσχεδιαζόμενες βελτιώσεις του από το υπουργείο παιδείας της χώρας. Επίσης θααποπειραθώ μια σύγκριση με τις δικές μας εμπειρίες και πρακτικές, ώστε ναφανερωθούν οι αδυναμίες, αλλά και τα τυχόν θετικά στοιχεία του ελληνικού μοντέλου."
