Μια τέτοια προσέγγιση μπορεί να είναι εφικτή και είναιπροτιμότερο να γίνει στο εργαστήριο Φυσικών Επιστημών. Αν υπάρχει αεροδιάδρομοςκαι καροτσάκια μπορεί να επιλεγεί η προσέγγιση του προγράμματος PSSC. Το εικονικόεργαστήριο που κατασκευάστηκε δεν υποκαθιστά το πραγματικό, αλλά αποτελεί έναακόμη εφόδιο για το διδάσκοντα. Πλεονεκτεί σε σχέση με το κανονικό εργαστήριο σταεξής σημεία: • εξασφαλίζει μεγάλο κέρδος χρόνου• παρέχει πολλαπλές αναπαραστάσεις (διανύσματα, γραφικές παραστάσεις, στιγμιαίεςτιμές, προσομοίωση με ελεγχόμενο ρυθμό εξέλιξης) • επιτρέπει επανάληψη ενός πειράματος με ακριβώς τις ίδιες αρχικές συνθήκες• επιτρέπει τη μελέτη ακραίων καταστάσεων (π.χ. πολύ μεγάλη μάζα)"
