Στο άρθρο παρουσιάζονται τρεις εικόνες με παράσταση Εξομολόγησης που βρίσκονται στο Βυζαντινό Μουσείο και χρονολογούνται τον 19ο αιώνα. Γίνεται προσπάθεια να ερμηνευθεί ο λόγος εμφάνισης και διάδοσης αυτού του θέματος κατά τους τελευταίους αιώνες της Τουρκοκρατίας και συσχετίζεται με την ευρεία διάδοση των Εξομολογηταρίων, τα οποία αποτελούν και την εικονογραφική πηγή για την παράσταση. This article presents three icons in the Byzantine Museum with the representation of Holy Confession, which date to the 19th century. An attempt is made to understand why this subject appeared and spread during the last centuries of the Ottoman period. It is associated with the dissemination of Exomologetaria, which also comprise the iconographical source for the representation. (EN)
