Το αντικείμενο της μελέτης είναι παραποτάμια κεντρική περιοχή στη πόλη της Λάρισας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα μελετάται η σχέση πόλης - ποταμού και η αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ του υγρού στοιχείου και του αστικού ιστού. Προκειμένου να αναβαθμιστεί η επιλεγμένη περιοχή, μετακινείται ο σταθμός ΚΤΕΛ σε περιφερειακή ζώνη, και στη θέση του δημιουργείται Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών. Ο πολιτιστικός χαρακτήρας των γειτονικών χρήσεων σε συνδυασμό με τη Σχολή και τις συνοδευόμενες εγκαταστάσεις ανανεώνει το κέντρο της πόλης και επαναπροσδιορίζει τη σχέση με το φυσικό περιβάλλον. Η εργασία αναδεικνύει τη σημασία της αλληλεπίδρασης μεταξύ του αστικού και φυσικού περιβάλλοντος καθώς και της δημιουργικής αξίας που μπορεί να προκύψει από την ενοποίησή τους. (EL)
The subject of the study is a riverside central area in the city of Larissa. More specifically, it examines the relationship between the city and the river and the interaction between the water element and the urban fabric. To upgrade the selected area, the intercity bus station is relocated to a peripheral zone, and in its place, a School of Fine Arts is established. The cultural character of the neighboring uses, combined with the School and its accompanying facilities, renews the city center and redefines the relationship with the natural environment. The project highlights the importance of the interaction between the urban and natural environments and the creative value that can arise from their integration. (EN)
