Κούτης, Αντώνης ΔKoutis, Antonis DΠρόκειται για μια μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση της έρευνας και ανάπτυξης στην πρωτοβάθμια φροντίδα υγείας στην Κρήτη(ΠΟΦΟΥΟ). Σκοπός της μελέτης ήταν η ανάπτυξη της ΠΟΦΟΥΟ στις τοπικές μονάδες παροχής της, τα κέντρα υγείας. Για το λόγο αυτό έπρεπε να προηγηθεί έρευνα στον υπό ανάπτυξη χώρο. Εφαρμογές της μελέτης ήταν :Α)νέες δομές και λειτουργίες στην ΠΦΥ, Β)υπολογιστικό σύστημα καταγραφής και στατιστικής επεξεργασίας ιατρικών ιστορικών στην ΠΦΥ, Γ)μελέτη των παραγόντων κινδύνου για τη στεφανιαία νόσο της καρδιάς στον πληθισμό της περιοχής ευθύνης ενός κέντρου υγείας-αποτύπωση νοσολογικού φάσματος της κοινότητας,-δείκτες νοσηρότητας, θνησιμότητας, χρήση υπηρεσιών υγείας,-αποτύπωση του προφίλ των παραγόντων κινδύνου για τη στεφανιαία νόσο,-εκπαίδευση προσωπικού,-υλικοτεχνική υποδομή.A methodological approach of primary health care research and development, in Crete, Greece.
