The subject of this thesis is to present the composting of household waste and the use of products of this process in agriculture. Initially, it makes extensive reference to species and the use of fertilizers. Then it discusses the composting method and presents the advantages and disadvantages of the use of compost. Then the compost analyzed how earthworms, types of containers available, as well as the positive impacts from the knot in organic farming and the environment. Finally, presented the benefits of recycling and composting in Greece and the European Union as an example Germany.
