Solid waste management in the prefecture of Kozani

This study aims to present and manage solid waste in the prefecture of Kozani. Initially, there is a conceptual approach of the term waste or waste categories of solid waste and the impact brought about in the environment. Then, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the waste breaks down, refer to the management of waste and the framework of EECCA management and shows the quantities and waste separation, dredging waste, electronic and electrical equipment waste. Finally, are the prospects and targets for solid waste management in the prefecture of Kozani, socio-economic trends and the role of the citizen.
