The naturalism movement and its importance in France

The purpose of this thesis is the presentation of the movement of naturalism and its importance in France. First, the definition of naturalism given, the configuration factors and characteristics. Then, the contribution of the movement in France is analyzed. Then presents the biography of Emile Zola and carried commentary of his works. Finally, given the conclusions which emerged through research.
