      "@value" : "SUMMARY\nIn this report we described two cases of children with\nchronic active Helicobacter pylori gastritis without evidence\nof esophagogastrointestinal bleeding associated with irondeficiency\nanemia. In these cases, long-standing iron supplementation\nhad been necessary, but replacement therapy,\nwithout considering the role of Helicobacter pylori, was\nineffective. The anemia returned after the discontinuation\nof the iron therapy. Only the eradication therapy of helicobacter\npylori led to a complete resolution of the hematologic\ndisorder.\nKey words: Helicobacter pylori, Iron-deficiency anemia, gastritis"
