      "@value" : "SUMMARY\nMTS is defined by at least one sebaceous gland adenoma\nand one internal malignancy. Malignancies are often\nmultiple with predominance of colorectal and urogenital\ncarcinomas. Half of the patients with colorectal cancer have\nat least one synchronous or metachronous lesion. The skin\nlesions may be the first sign of this syndrome, although\nmore often its cutaneous signs follow the diagnosis of at\nleast the first visceral malignancy. Identifying such patients\nwill affect their management. Regular follow-up and search\nfor new malignancy is mandatory. Because this syndrome\nis inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, identifying\none patient means delineating an entire family, which\nshould then be investigated. This syndrome may be caused\nby a defective mismatch DNA repair gene."
