      "@value" : "Ο αναμενόμενος αντίκτυπος της μεγάλης διείσδυσης της αιολικής ενέργειας που αναμένεται, θα επηρεάσει σημαντικά  όχι μόνον την υφιστάμενη βιομηχανία παροχής ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας στη χώρα μας, αλλά και θα αναδύσει νέες προκλήσεις για την ίδια την ελληνική οικονομία. Έτσι, αυτή η διπλωματική εργασία μελέτησε την τρέχουσα κατάσταση της αιολικής ενέργειας στην Ελλάδα με επίκεντρο τις μελλοντικές προοπτικές και εξελίξεις στην περίπτωση των ανεμογεννητριών γενικά, και ειδικότερα στο Αιγαίο πέλαγος (Κυκλάδες). \nΣτο πρώτο κεφάλαιο, έγινε μια εισαγωγή στη δυναμική της αιολικής ενέργειας, αλλά και μια συγκριτική περιγραφή των συμβατικών και των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενεργείας, ενώ παρουσιάστηκε και μια σύντομη ιστορική ανασκόπηση των ανεμογεννητριών. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο, παρουσιάστηκαν οι τύποι των ανεμογεννητριών, τα λειτουργικά χαρακτηριστικά τους, αλλά και τα αιολικά πάρκα. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο, αναλύθηκαν οι προοπτικές των ανεμογεννητριών στην Ελλάδα και ειδικότερα στο Αιγαίο Πέλαγος, τα αριθμητικά στοιχεία, καθώς και τα πλεονεκτήματα και τα μειονεκτήματα των ανεμογεννητριών, όπως και οι προοπτικές από την επικείμενη ηλεκτρική διασύνδεση των Κυκλάδων ειδικότερα. Τέλος, στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο, το οποίο αποτέλεσε και το ερευνητικό μέρος της εργασίας, έγινε μια σύντομη εισαγωγή στον σχεδιασμό και την κατασκευή των ανεμογεννητριών και επικεντρώθηκε το ενδιαφέρον της έρευνας στα υλικά κατασκευής των ανεμογεννητριών.\n\tΑνακεφαλαιώνοντας, συμπεραίνεται πως, αυτή τη στιγμή, οι λεπίδες των ανεμογεννητριών φτιάχνονται κυρίως από σύνθετα υλικά. Τα βασικά, πιο διαδεδομένα σήμερα, υλικά κατασκευής πύργων των ανεμογεννητριών είναι ο χάλυβας και το σκυρόδερμα, ενώ των λεπίδων των ανεμογεννητριών είναι τα εξής: Υβριδικά Σύνθετα Πολυμερών - Hybrid polymer composite (HPC), Υαλονήματα - Glass fiber (GF), Ανθρακονήματα - Carbon fiber (CF) και τα Βασαλτονήματα - Basalt fiber (BF), ενώ η κυρίαρχη τάση για το μέλλον βασίζεται στα σύνθετα με νανο-νήματα."

      "@value" : "The expected impact of the high penetration of wind power, will significantly affect not only the existing electricity supply industry in Greece, but also will bring up new challenges for the Greek economy. So, this dissertation is based on studying the current situation as far as the wind energy in Greece is concerned; with a focus on future prospects and developments in case of wind turbines particularly in the Aegean Sea (Cyclades). In the first chapter, an introduction to the dynamics of wind energy was made, as well as a comparative description of conventional and renewable energy sources. Also, a brief historical review of wind turbines was made. In the second chapter, the types of wind turbines and their operating characteristics were presented, as well as wind farms. In the third chapter, the prospects of wind turbines in Greece were analyzed, particularly in the Aegean Sea, via figures. Also, the pros and cons of wind turbines, as well as the prospects of imminent electrical interconnection of Cyclades were discussed. Finally, in the fourth chapter, which was the research part of the dissertation, a brief introduction took place as far as the design and construction of wind turbines are concerned, followed by a qualitative research of the materials used in construction of wind turbines. Summarizing, it is concluded that, nowadays, wind turbines’ blades are mostly made of composite materials. As far as the wind turbine towers are concerned, the most popular today construction materials are steel and concrete, and as far as wind turbines’ blades are concerned the most widely-used materials include the following: Hybrid Composite Polymers (HPC), Fiber-Glass (GF), Carbon Fiber (CF) and Basalt Fiber (BF); while the top trend for the future is based on Nano-composites."
