      "@value" : "Το αντικείμενο της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η αλληλεπίδραση ανθρώπου υπολογιστή με καταδίωξη βλέμματος και πιο συγκεκριμένα η δυνατότητα αξιοποίησης αυτής της τεχνολογίας σε χώρους πολιτιστικού ενδιαφέροντος όπως μουσεία ή χώρους εκθέσεων. Στα πλαίσια της εργασίας διερευνάται το συγκεκριμένο ερευνητικό πεδίο και γίνεται μια προσπάθεια καταγραφής εφαρμογών που έχουν υλοποιηθεί τα τελευταία χρόνια με σκοπό την ανάδειξη πιθανών πλεονεκτημάτων αλλά και περιορισμών που συνδέονται με τη χρήση αυτής της τεχνολογίας. Προκειμένου να αντιληφθούμε καλύτερα το συγκεκριμένο αντικείμενο γίνεται μια προσπάθεια υλοποίησης μιας τέτοιας εφαρμογής στο χώρο ενός λαογραφικού μουσείου στην περιοχή της Λάρισας. Σκοπός της είναι τόσο η παροχή πληροφοριών σχετικά με τα εκθέματα του μουσείου όσο και η ψυχαγωγία των επισκεπτών. Μέσω αυτής της εφαρμογής οι επισκέπτες του μουσείου μπορούν χρησιμοποιώντας το βλέμμα τους να αλληλεπιδρούν με το περιεχόμενο που προβάλλεται σε μα οθόνη, να επιλέγουν αντικείμενα και να παίζουν ένα παιχνίδι γνώσεων σχετικά με τα εκθέματα του μουσείου. Για την υλοποίηση της εφαρμογής χρησιμοποιήθηκε ο εξοπλισμός της εταιρείας Eye Tribe και το λογισμικό ανοιχτού κώδικα Gazetracker, στο οποίο σχεδιάστηκε η εφαρμογή για το συγκεκριμένο μουσείο. Για την αποτελεσματική εξαγωγή χρήσιμων συμπερασμάτων η εφαρμογή αξιολογήθηκε από πραγματικούς χρήστες. Τα συμπεράσματα που προέκυψαν από την υλοποίηση της εφαρμογής είναι ότι η συγκεκριμένη τεχνολογία παρουσιάζει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον για τους επισκέπτες ενός μουσείου καθώς αποτελεί ένα πρωτότυπο και ευχάριστο τρόπο που εμπλουτίζει την συνολική τους εμπειρία. Ωστόσο παρουσιάζει αρκετά προβλήματα και περιορισμούς που συνδέονται τόσο με το χώρο υλοποίησης όσο και με τη δυσκολία χρήσης της από τους επισκέπτες."
