Η ακόλουθη μελέτη πραγματεύεται το θέμα της Αριστοτελικής κάθαρσης, όπως καταγράφεται στον ορισμό για την τραγωδία. Κατόπιν εκτίθενται οι κυριότερες απόψεις που έχουν στηριχθεί στην ερμηνεία της έννοιας. Σε επόμενο βήμα επιχειρείται ο εντοπισμός του στοιχείου της κάθαρσης στην πράξη, δηλαδή μέσα σε επιλεγμένα έργα των τριών τραγικών ποιητών. Το δεύτερο μέρος της εργασίας μεταβαίνει στον τομέα της δραματοθεραπείας από την απαρχή των δραματουργικών τελετών, όπου εντοπίζονται στοιχεία πρώιμης δραματοθεραπείας μέχρι την καθιέρωση του δράματος ως θεραπευτική τεχνική. Το ζητούμενο που διερευνάται είναι αν η έννοια της κάθαρσης επιβιώνει στη σύγχρονη δραματοθεραπεία.
ABSTRACT
The following study addresses the issue of Aristotelian catharsis, as recorded in the definition of tragedy. Furthermore, the main opinions that have been supported on the interpretation of the concept are presented. In a subsequent step, the pinpointing of the element of catharsis in practice is attempted, namely within selected works of the three tragic poets. The second part of the essay is dedicated to the field of drama therapy from the very beginnings of dramaturgical rituals, where elements of early drama are observed until the introduction of drama as a therapeutic technique. The question under consideration is whether the concept of catharsis survives in modern drama therapy.
